Canning and food preservation is an excellent practice to calibrate our eating to a more sustainable regional food system, and we believe the work to be rewarding. We also know that canning is a lost art and it can be a little intimidating to give it a shot on your own. If you want to try it out in a relaxed group setting please join us for this Communal Canning class held at Fourteenth Street Christian Reformed Church on Saturday, August 12th, starting at 10am.  Kay Hubbard will lead us in canning salsa, bread and butter pickles and jam.

Cost: $10.
