Kale Chips

  1. Wash kale leaves and tear into chip-size pieces.
  2. Dip each side in olive oil & place on a cookie sheet.
  3. Sprinkle with salt.
  4. Bake at 400 for 10 minutes or so.

The first time I made these, I’ll admit I was pretty skeptical…until I tried one. What an easy way to get in your greens! One important tip: make sure that you don’t burn them; you want them crisp but not brown. If they turn brown, they get a bitter taste that isn’t very pleasant. These are best fresh & hot from the oven.
