Stromboli

  • 1 loaf frozen bread dough, thawed (or homemade pizza dough)
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 2 Tbsp canola oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 8oz pkg mozzarella cheese
  • 1 Tbsp parmesan cheese
  • any toppings you desire (peppers, spinach, tomatoes, onions….)

Roll out bread dough into a 12×15 inch rectangle; set aside. Combine egg yolks, oil, oregano, parsley, garlic powder and pepper; spread over dough. Arrange cheese and toppings on dough, sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Roll up; place seam-side down on a baking sheet. Brush with egg whites; bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes.

We like to dip it in pizza sauce.
